Why this program exists

Konima believes literacy is a fundamental human right. This initiative creates accessible, engaging spaces where young people can read widely, write honestly, ask questions, and discover the joy of stories.

What participants experience

  • Book clubs that make reading social, curious, and consistent
  • Writing workshops that help young people express ideas in their own voice
  • Storytelling activities that build confidence and communication skills
  • Book distribution and school library support where resources are limited
  • Inclusive literacy planning for children with visual impairments and other disabilities

School and teacher support

Konima works toward practical support for teachers and schools that want to integrate reading culture and creative writing into everyday learning. Confirmed partner schools and delivery sites will be published as they are verified.

Outcomes we will track

The institute will track participation, books distributed, workshop attendance, youth-authored writing, and inclusive literacy support. Unverified figures remain in bracket placeholders until records are complete.
