Why this program exists

Climate change and development are not abstract topics for Sierra Leonean youth. The Eco-literacy and Development Hub gives university students a structured space to read, discuss, write, and communicate ideas connected to the environment and their communities.

What happens in the hub

  • Reading sessions on climate change, development, and youth action
  • Writing prompts that turn research and lived experience into clear communication
  • Discussion circles that help students ask stronger questions and explore ideas
  • Opportunities to produce essays, reflections, explainers, or community-facing writing

Program status

This hub is an active program lane under development. Participant counts, university partners, and published outputs will be updated once verified.
